Global Mission
Uganda
Operation Uganda is a not-for-profit, non-government organisation working in Uganda since 2005, with the vision of rescuing vulnerable children, empowering communities, and ultimately transforming the nation. They provide literacy, English, and skills-based training and operate a daycare centre enabling vulnerable mothers to work while their children are cared for. They partner with 25 primary and secondary schools providing capacity building, training, and more. DLC has been supporting Operation Uganda on a monthly basis for a number of years.
Lesotho
This tiny landlocked nation surrounded by South Africa is not only beautiful but carries the title of the murder capital of Africa, as high unemployment and family challenges impact the community. ‘Sepheo’ is an organisation committed to educating street children, providing opportunities towards a more positive future, reconciling those same children to their families and communities.
Cambodia
Mother's Heart (MH) is the first and currently only crisis pregnancy centre in Cambodia. MH has developed a program that is at the forefront of preventing child family separation and supporting women with unplanned or unwanted pregnancies. They ensure that every child of a single mother in their pregnancy support program is either raised by his/her mother, extended family or is placed in permanent foster care. Mother’s Heart has two main programs: 1. Crisis Pregnancy Counselling 2. Pregnancy Support Program.
Vietnam
Triple 8 Motorbikes in Hanoi, is an enterprise committed to training rehabilitated drug and alcohol sufferers with skills to re-enter the working community. Since 2019 DLC has supported the work of this amazing ministry.
India
DLC is thrilled to partner with Tejas Asia, a locally run organisation that provides healthcare and education to people living in the slums throughout the city of New Delhi. Pastors Marlo and Sheril Philip lead an incredible team who run multiple mobile school buses, The Hope School, medical clinics and Welcome Home Church.
DLC also continues to support three nursing students as they work towards completing their university studies.
International Justice Mission (IJM)
IJM is a global organisation with a mission to end slavery in this lifetime. IJM works to protect people in poverty from violence, partnering with local authorities in 24 program offices in 14 countries to combat trafficking and slavery, violence against woman and children and police abuse of power. DLC is pleased to partner with this organisation annually.
Timor-Leste
As one of our closest international neighbours to the Northern Territory, DLC has a heart for Timor-Leste. Timor Leste is a developing country which has overcome tremendous challenges to be the free nation it is today.
Both health, and the prevention of violence against women and children are two key areas identified for support that we as a church are contributing towards.

Desert Life Services (DLS)
Desert Life Services (DLS) is our local community service arm. DLS is committed to championing and partnering with local activities and initiatives that enhance the lives of the local people of Alice Springs.
Australia
Our nation matters to us. At DLC we partner with ACCI, and also our ACC state and national executives to provide support and relief to needs that arise and impact local people around our beautiful country.
